[yes.....I want to unveil the painting for the first time under the intensity of my track lighting.....then telephone you.... It will be like a wrapped Christmas present......I definitely want you to sign it upon completion with the year date, like the last one..........so now I will have... Miguel Avila 2002 and a Miguel Avila 2003.....perhaps a Miguel Avila 2004...I wonder?????....I still have wall space to work with.......]

[Miguel........EVERYONE.....absolutely loved the painting.....people just stood around and stared, and stared.....commenting on how much they liked it......it was by far everyone's favorite piece.....and am so glad you captured my idea perfectly.....It's funny....depending on your gender....people looked upon it with all sorts of views....one girl saw the painting as a bride maid grooming the bride just before a wedding.....other people saw a "definite sexual overtone" to it...and the men were trying to decide which girl was dominant...which most saw as the brunette....it sparked a lot of discussion..which in my mind is what good art is supposed to do....it looks absolutely fantastic under the track lighting.....and if you need it for a show or gallery opening just let me know....but it must say  "from the collection of Charlie Perkins" at the gallery opening… ha,ha, There were over 70 people in my house at one time.. so 140 eyes admired your work....you keep it up, my friend....I have a feeling I will not be able to afford to purchase your work one day!]  Charlie [Perkins]

[Miguel, The party was Saturday at John's (Novack) house and everyone had to comment on how beautiful your painting was.  It really is incredible.  I do go to your website very frequently to see what you are working on and dream of someday owning my very own Miguel original.  I am still thinking of having you do a portrait of my dog for me in the future…]
